Our Rock Band Camp gives kids the chance to practice and perform as part of a real rock band — even if it’s their first time playing an instrument! Join us for a week full of fun activities, friends, learning, laughter and creativity as we explore the many facets of musical theater through acting, singing and dancing. Students will learn more about specific acting skills, dance technique, stage presence and more. Each day they will rehearse parts for a mini musical to be performed at the end of the week. It will be made up of a few songs with show dialog to tell the story and give every student a specific role, lines, choreography, costumes and singing. No previous training is necessary, but also welcomed.
All campers must be potty trained.

Columbian Park Zoo offers a summer full of learning fun with Zoo Camps! Camps begin June 2 with weekly themed day camp offerings each week. Age groups are 5-7, 8-11 and 12-14 years. Discover your WILD side at Zoo Camps! Each Zoo Camp is a stand-alone session, based on a popular nature-based theme. Camps are educational, encouraging active learning through games, crafts, age-appropriate science explorations, and hands-on encounters with a variety of live Animal Ambassadors. Rich in STEM-based activities, these camps engage the natural curiosity in a child and allow ample opportunity to practice critical emerging science skills. Learning has never been so much fun!

Come join us to learn and perform music from one of the most popular punk trios of all time in our Green Day Music CampGreen Day was one of the most popular and influential bands of the 90s and early 2000s. Their fun, high-energy music helped bring punk into the mainstream. Throughout this 5-day music camp, we’ll explore hits from some of their most popular albums, such as “Dookie,” “Warning,” “Insomniac,” “American Idiot” and beyond. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
