We have camps available for youth 6-13 years. Camps are a fun way to learn about animals and see the Zoo in a new way. Campers will explore the Zoo with tours, animal presentations, games, crafts and more.

Join us for a week full of fun activities, friends, learning, laughter and creativity as we explore the many facets of musical theater through acting, singing and dancing. Students will learn more about specific acting skills, dance technique, stage presence and more. Each day they will rehearse parts for a mini musical to be performed at the end of the week. It will be made up of a few songs with show dialog to tell the story and give every student a specific role, lines, choreography, costumes and singing. No previous training is necessary, but also welcomed.
All campers must be potty trained.

At Camp Manitowa our summer camp near St. Louis in Southern Illinois strive to provide campers an environment that fosters all the skills parents want their kids to develop early on in life. Our Rend Lake camp is a non-religions program that serves campers 2nd to 9th-grade. Kids gain independence, build self-esteem, and learn about cooperation and problem-solving, all while making new, lifelong friends. We offer a small community for campers so that they feel like they are part of the Manitowa family. By offering structured free choice activities, we encourage kids to feel a sense of belonging and control over their experience, which leaves them feeling empowered and able to learn and grow. Ninja Camp: Super Mario Adventure
Jump into an action-packed week where ninjas meet the Mushroom Kingdom! Kids will train like ninjas while tackling Mario-inspired obstacle courses, leaping over “lava pits,” scaling “vines,” and dodging Nerf-powered “Koopa shells.” Collect coins, rescue the princess, and power up with teamwork and agility challenges. This camp combines ninja mastery with the fun and excitement of Super Mario for an epic adventure!
Ultimate Ninjas Camps are designed to teach the techniques used to conquer any obstacle - and we have several! Our focus is on getting fit and having FUN while building endurance, strength, coordination and learning how to quickly and safely maneuver through various obstacles. Camps include: stations of obstacles working on technique, courses, games, and open play!
