Ballet & Art Camp - Full-Day, Indianapolis School of Ballet

For children ages 7-10 years

Now offering 2 WEEKS of the full-day camp. You may select one week or both weeks.

Week 1: July 15-19, 2024, 9:30am - 4:30pm

Week 2: July 22-26, 2024, 9:30am - 4:30pm

This summer ballet, music, and art join forces for a dynamite day camp! This summer, our Ballet & Camp will be themed around Carnival of the Animals. Located conveniently in downtown Indianapolis, campers will be immersed in ballet, tap, art, and music classes aimed to spark creativity, build confidence, and strengthen dance skills.

Each day is full of non-stop activities, including field trips to downtown cultural attractions. Students will learn the art of costume making, and even have the chance to make their own performance tutu. The week ends with a treasured studio performance wearing the costumes they have created.

Class Attire

Girls: White leotard, pink/flesh tights, and pink/flesh ballet slippers, and black patent tap shoes

Boys: Black biker shorts or tights, white T- shirt, white socks, white ballet shoes, black tap shoes

Ballet & Art Camp - Half-Day, Indianapolis School of Ballet

For children ages 5-6 years

July 15-19, 2024, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Campers will be immersed in a week-long camp centered around the delightful ballet, Carnival of the Animals. Each day includes an hour-long dance class with ballet and tap instruction, storytelling, craft projects, and a break for a snack. A treasured informal mini-performance is given at the week’s end, featuring choreography, props, and scenery created by the students.

Girls: Pink leotard, pink/flesh tights, and pink/flesh ballet slippers, and black patent tap shoes

Boys: Black biker shorts or tights, white T- shirt, white socks, white ballet shoes, black tap shoes
