Eagle Creek Park | Kids Out and About Indianapolis

Eagle Creek Park

With 1400 acres of water and 3900 acres of forest, Eagle Creek Park is one of the largest city parks in the nation, offering unmatched opportunities for recreation, enjoyment, and discovery of nature only minutes from downtown Indianapolis.
Indy Parks and Recreation strives to provide homeschool students with opportunities to explore nature in fun and unique ways. At the Earth Discovery Center, homeschool students ages 8 to 14 can take part in two Homeschool Jamborees per year. At each jamboree, students attend four environmental education classes in just over four hours.
