Coach Ulrey’s Training Academy

Coach Ulrey graduated from New Palestine High School in New Palestine, Indiana in 2006. Over four years, he hit over .400 and helped lead the Dragons in 2004 to a 3A State Championship and a top 50 national ranking. He was a three-time All-County and two-time All-Conference and All-East player. Ulrey was nominated as a 2006 Indiana All-State baseball player and selected to the All-Rawlings Team in 2006. He was selected in the 33rd round as an outfielder in the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft by the Chicago White Sox. He opted out of signing due to an injury and pursued college baseball.
