What our organization offers:
Ages for which our activities are most appropriate:
Cathedral is the premier Catholic high school in Indiana. We have been living and teaching our Holy Cross values since 1918. Cathedral, a premier Catholic high school in the Holy Cross tradition, transforms the hearts and minds of a diverse group of students to have the competence to see and the courage to act. Cathedral offers a comprehensive academic program that educates the hearts and minds of students. Holy Cross Founder Blessed Basil Moreau believed we should provide students with every bit of knowledge they need. But more than that, we should also give them the understanding and character to put that knowledge to good use for themselves and others and have the competence to see and the courage to act.
With over 200 course offerings, students have access to a diverse curriculum that will challenge and empower them to answer the call to greatness. With three levels of classes offered (honors, academic, and college preparatory), every student receives an education tailored to their abilities and goals. Our dedicated counselors, who work tirelessly with students on course selection, college applications, and mental health, further enhance this personalized approach.
Graduates leave Cathedral with the necessary skills to succeed in college and their future careers.
Our place in the Indianapolis community is one of honor and service. Our graduates number among some of the most accomplished business, community, government, and religious leaders in the state and country. Our legacy of educating not just the mind, but the heart and spirit is perhaps our greatest asset, and we’re honored to champion inclusion as one of the most diverse schools in central Indiana. All of which combine to shape students who go on to achieve things they might never have thought possible — and to actively participate in the state’s largest and liveliest alumni network.
We look ahead proudly to the next century of helping our students achieve greatness.
