Originally opened in 1993, the Y @ the A has gone through many changes, resulting in the wonderfully unique center we are today. With a wide variety of cardio equipment, large free weight area, assortment of great group exercise classes, and superior child care and preschool program, the YMCA at the Athenaeum is a perfect fit for all ages. In addition, we also offer Active Older Adult specific exercise classes, and a variety of other youth programs, wellness coaching, and personal training.
