Before working at Pike, Karen was the Community Alliance Manager for the Indiana Commission on Higher Education and Learn More Indiana where she led statewide college access and success campaigns for the Commission and formed partnerships with local and state organizations to further assist low-income, first-generation students prepare for college success.
Karen holds a Masters in Higher Education and Administration, and also a Master’s in General Management with a minor in Education/Training. She also has her bachelor’s in marketing and business communication. Karen is currently pursuing her Certification in College Counseling from UCLA. Karen was also just recently voted to be the President-Elect for Indiana’s Association of College Admissions Counselors.
Karen is a dedicated wife and mother of two boys ages 20 and 18. She is also an active member of the New Horizons Church and a member of her sorority Delta Sigma Theta.
