Trifonov Plays Schumann

Schumann's only piano concerto brims with joy and melody from start to finish and will be performed by award-winning Russian concert pianist and composer Daniil Trifonov. Winner of the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for his debut opera "Silent Night," Kevin Puts has been described as "emotional, compelling, and relevant." Maestro Urbański continues this season's cycle of Brahms and leads the ISO in a performance of the lush "Third Symphony," hailed by a critic of the composer's time as "a feast for the music lover and musican...artistically the most perfect."
