Great American Read Block Party

Come and join the fun at CCPL's first ever Block Party!

Hear from authors and experts, play literary trivia, work on a giant crossword puzzle, discover cool library apps, write flash fiction, get personalized predictions for your next great read from our literary fortune tellers, find hidden treasures from the library bookstore, and much more. Special tents will feature activities for children and teens.
Enjoy beverages from Urban Vines and Danny Boy, as well as Twisted Sicilian, Monon Coffee, and General American Donut food trucks.
Bring a lawn chair, or ride your bike and use a chair courtesy of Ride Carmel.
A complete schedule of block party events will be available in the library and on the library's website beginning August 1.
This program is part of the "Great American Read" program series. PBS is celebrating books, and the library is joining the fun. Visit the library or go to www.carmel.lib.in.us/greatamericanread to see the Great American Read event brochure and cast your vote for your favorite book from the list.
This program will be held in the library parking lot.
