All JCC campers swim in the JCC’s very own Eskenazi Water Park. The water park has a lazy river and two water slides.
Day Camp Age Groups
Check the age group of your camper for information about what each camp entails.
Please note: JCC Members pay a lower member rate.
Grades K-1 | Masada
Masada is a plateau in the Negev Desert in Israel, and today, Masada stands as a symbol of strength and determination based on a legend of Jewish fortitude atop Masada in the face of a Roman siege.
Camp Masada is the best way to experience new adventures, make new friends, and spend the summer just being a kid! Campers will participate in a combination of activities geared for their age group, building friendships through games, nature and science studies, sports, music, drama, swimming, arts and crafts, and much more! There will be late nights, special theme days and all-theme events.
At Camp Masada, you can expect:
- Hot dogs for lunch on Fridays. A Wacky Snacky (sweet treat) on Wednesdays
- Music, dance, art, Israeli culture, sports specialties weekly
- 45 minutes free swim/30 minutes instruction Monday through Thursday, free swim on Friday.
- Late nights: 2 for kindergarten, 2 for 1st grade
- Balance between physical and calmer activities
- Minimum of 2 counselors (one at least college age or older); 12-15 campers per each co-ed group
- Lip Sync show at Pike Performing Arts Center
- Yom Sport, special theme days, all-camp activities
Grades 2-5 | Tikvah
Tikvah is Hebrew for hope.
At the JCC, we share the hope for all children and all members of our community—health, equality, and joy in life.
Camp Tikvah campers will embark on a new journey with new and old friends and have more opportunities to explore and play. In addition to the usual camp activities, Tikvah campers will choose from a variety of special interest activities, including overnights at the JCC.
Camp Tikvah includes:
- Music, dance, art, Israeli culture, sports specialties weekly
- Friday hot dog lunch provided; Wacky Snacky (sweet treat) on Wednesdays
- 45 minutes free swim/30 minutes instruction Monday through Thursday, free swim on Friday
- All groups are gender-specific; 12-15 campers per group
- Lip Sync show at Pike Performing Arts Center
- Yom Sport, special theme days, all-camp activities
Grades 6-7 | Gesher
Gesher is Hebrew for bridge.
Gesher campers build bridges by forming lifelong friendships. We aim to help them cross bridges to greater independence and self-esteem.
At this age, campers are gaining autonomy and responsibility. Gesher campers participate daily in the best of summer camp activities: sports, games, arts & crafts, all-camp activities and daily swims in the JCC’s very own Eskenazi Water Park..
Here is what they can expect from Camp Gesher:
- 60 minutes of free swim daily
- Music, dance, art, Israeli culture, sports specialties weekly
- Weekly social service projects
- Lip Sync show at Pike Performing Arts Center
- Yom Sport, special theme days, all-camp activities
Grades 8-9 | Kesher
Kesher is Hebrew for connection.
Kesher campers are building leadership skills by participating in project-based activities that focus on bettering the community. They also take part in daily summer camp fun.
Here is what they can expect from Camp Kesher:
- 60 minutes of free swim daily
- Music, dance, art, Israeli culture, sports specialties weekly
- Weekly social service projects
- Lip Sync show at Pike Performing Arts Center
- Yom Sport, special theme days, all-camp activities
