Comic Creations: Anime & Manga

This course follows the Anime Drawing workshop. Students will use their own Anime characters, and will complete a simple story scene in comic form. Japanese Anime/Manga and traditional art techniques will be used to complete the project. 'Very creative and FUN!

Class Experience

Class Requirements
- Students must be able to work independently and behave appropriately in a specialized studio art classroom. If your child has a special circumstance, please contact us prior to registering.
- Students should have a coachable mindset and be open to improving his/her art skills based on advice from our experienced art staff.
Sample Class Format
· The staff consists of university-trained artists.
·This course has a curriculum with lesson plans, and your child will have daily goals as he/she conceptualizes and completes a short comic.
· Goal: Conceptualize, draw, and complete 1 short comic scene using comic template squares and conversation bubbles.
· There may be a parent demonstration of the artwork at the end of the week.
