WINTER BREAK CAMPS at Indiana State Museum

Campers will engage in educational crafts, experiments and activities during these single day camps. Learn about arctic animals, become a photographer, create warm and cozy crafts and more! Camps are offered at the Indiana State Museum.

$55/child per day, 10% discount for members, $5 sibling discount

    Celebrate a season of feasting as we make and taste food using chemistry concepts such as density to separate solids and liquids and emulsification of things like butter and ice cream.

      Discover the art of science as we explore with light, paint, and technology.

    • DEC 21 | WINTER SCIENCE

      Learn about cold weather environments, animals and snow through creating art pieces.

      • DEC 22 | WARM & COZY CRAFTS

        Make some no-sew crafts to keep yourself or a friend warm.

      • DEC 27 | GLOBAL CELEBRATIONS

        Explore what winter holidays around the world have in common through crafting and enjoy Celebration Crossing to see how Indiana does the holidays.

      • DEC 28 | ARCTIC ANIMALS

        Learn about the animals that live in one of the coldest regions on Earth – the Arctic – and explore how they adapt and thrive.

        • DEC 29 | SHUTTERBUG

          Learn about how a camera works, take creative photos and create a collaborative long-exposure piece.

        • DEC 30 | SELF CARE AWARE

          Embrace the new year as we explore mindfulness and improving ourselves through stress-relieving crafts, simple yoga and practicing gratitude.
