Learn about the Bethel AME Church, a bedrock institution of African American life surrounding Indiana Avenue, predating the Civil War in its founding December 26. Church historian Olivia McGee-Lockhart will discuss her first-hand experience in preserving Bethel's history and attending the historic church.
