Summer Camp: Musical Theater High School Musical One-Act Edition- With Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy (Ages 13-17)

It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. They cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical, led by Ms. Darbus. Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well. This is a full production for 13-17 years old performers.
Rehearsals are June 7 to July 26.
Shows are July 28, 29 & 30 at 7:30pm (If we double cast the shows, we might add one more show on 30th)

The listed musicals for this summer are 80-90 min long for full production. Summer camp presents a condensed version of the full production, but campers will have same experience as full musical theater!
Length: The camp is five days long and runs 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday.
There will be a short performance for family members on Friday 2:15pm. It is free admission.
- Age: 7 years old to 12 years old
- No experience needed.
- Snacks & Lunch: We will take two snack breaks each day. Campers should bring their own snack and drink. We encourage healthy snacks and request NO SODA.
- Medication: If medication is to be issued during camp hours please bring specific instructions for each medication.
- Photographs: Unless written letter stating otherwise, Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy reserves the right to use photographs and video taken of campers for marketing in print, on our website, and on social media.
