Storywalk Animal Tales: Fireflies - At McCloud Nature Park

Read this month's Animal Tales story while walking an easy trail at McCloud Nature Park! Start at the Nature Center and follow the signs to the storywalk.
Pick up your FREE take-home craft at the end of the trail or when the Nature Center is open (Wed-Sat, 10-4; Sun, 1-5) while supplies last.
Restrooms are open daily, as well as the park and trails.
This is recommended for preschool through upper elementary age children and their parents/guardians. This program is FREE to attend and is outside.
June's story is Fireflies! by Julie Brinckloe.
A young boy is proud of having caught a jar full of fireflies, which seems to him like owning a piece of moonlight, but as the light begins to dim he realizes he must set the insects free or they will die.
