Lifeguard Classes ( Ages 15 & up ) - With Columbus Parks & Recreation

Dive right into great summer opportunities with our lifeguard classes! This course is for those planning to be a lifeguard at a swimming pool or non-surf beach. This 2-Day Class will include CPR certification for professional rescuers & first aid training. Must be 15 years old by the end of the class.

All students must be able to:
•Swim 300 yards
•Tread water for 3 minutes
•Retrieve a 10lb weight from the deep end
•Swim back to the shallow end with that 10lb weight

All classes are held at the Foundation for Youth (405 Hope Avenue).
Students will need bring their swim suits and towel to each class.
