Scout Saturday: Astronomy Merit Badge Workshop at McCloud Nature Park

Take an adventure through the universe while keeping both feet on the Earth!

Join our Park Naturalist, who is a certified BSA merit badge counselor, for some stargazing basics, and after a short break, attend the inside program by the Indiana Astronomical Society. Then if the sky is clear after sunset, look through several telescopes and speak with astronomers. (If the sky is not clear after sunset, you may attend one of the other monthly astronomy programs.)
Recommended for grades 6-12.
$10/attendee (chaperones are free).
