Registration is now open for Summer Preschool Camp at The Forest Park Lodge (ages 3-5*)! Join the recreation staff for games, crafts, activities, laughter, and friendship. Children must be able to use the bathroom on their own. Campers should bring the following each day: snack, lunch, water bottle, close-toed shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, swimsuit, and towel. Before and after care are not offered for preschool camp.

*If your child has completed kindergarten, and is still 5 years old, please call the Parks' Office to discuss their eligibility for all-day, school age camp.

The 2022 Preschool Camp schedule includes:

Week 1 (June 6-10): Rainbow Rush – Explore the amazing world of colors! From mixing colors, to making rainbows, the art of color is sure to explode in your camper’s world!
Week 2 (June 13-17): 5 Senses of Summer – Engage your senses this summer! This week, your camper will explore a different sense each day. Get adventurous by taking a nature hike, tasting something new, and listening to the sounds of summer, to name a few!
Week 3 (June 20-24): Nature Explorers – Nature is all around us! Your little explorer will investigate nature, learn about wildlife homes, and take part in nature themed crafts and activities.
Week 4 (June 27-July 1): Messy Mania – This week campers will explore all things messy! Campers will make oobleck, slime, and explore messy activities.
Week 5 (July 6-8) (Pro-rated): Wild World of Water – Splish Splash! This week your camper will explore the many things water can do. Your camper will have fun doing messy water crafts, exploring ocean life and playing water games outside!
Week 6 (July 11-15): Transportation Station Cars! Trucks! Boats! And More! Your camper will race around camp in their very own car, build a boat to explore near and far, and explore different modes of transportation!
Week 7 (July 18-22): Rumble In the Jungle – It’s a Roaring Good Time! This week, your camper will play silly safari games, go on a scavenger hunt and investigate the exotic animals of the jungle!
Week 8 (July 25-29): Dynamite Dinosaurs – T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops – Oh My! This week your camper will learn all about dinosaurs, big and small! We will search for dinosaur tracks through Forest Park’s forest, search for fossils in the sand, and so much more!
