The Potager Palette - A Camp for the Littlest of Artists

This camp is essentially a developmentally scaled version of the Budding Artists camp, but with a greater emphasis on the experiential aspects so as to inspire the imaginations of the youngest learners. Students will begin each day with a nature-inspired Creative Movement class at a different iconic landmark (e.g. beneath the Great Oak, within the Flower Tunnel, etc.) before they shift to a carefully curated series of highly kinesthetic activities that integrate both cultivated and native florals and greenery from Artisan Acres Estate. Daily nature walks for materials sourcing are a cornerstone of the camp! Projects may be broken up into several smaller increments that span multiple days so as to best accommodate the developmental needs of our youngest learners.
Note that despite the younger ages of the students, the quality of materials for this camp is not compromised—there will be no markers, paper plates, etc.
In July, we will come back together for a joint Gallery Reception with the Foundations of Drawing and Budding Artists programs in the Grand Little Barn, where family and friends are welcome to view our young artists’ creations as they enjoy refreshments on the beautiful property.
