What We Believe

With Christians around the world we share the basic affirmations of faith as expressed in the Apostles’ and the Nicene Creeds. Asmembers of the Wesleyan tradition, which began in England in the 18th century, we affirm the doctrinal standards of our tradition. As United Methodists we are inspired by the social principles of our denomination. As members of the Reconciling Ministries Network within the United Methodist Church we strive for an inclusive church for LGBTQ persons.
