Reindeer Rendezvous with the Zoo - Columbian Park Zoo

Reindeer Rendezvous with the Zoo is coming to Columbian Park Zoo on Sunday, December 10, 2023! This festive event will be held during two different time slots: 12pm-3pm and 3:30pm-6:30pm. Children and their families will have the opportunity to visit with Santa and meet his reindeer (Santa's reindeer will be available for visits from 1pm-3pm and 3:30pm-5pm)! Attendees will enjoy a holiday craft station, a presentation of animal artifacts by our very own elves of the Zoo Education Department, as well as have an opportunity to get a photo taken with the big man himself! Santa's sleigh will also be available for photos. At our letter-writing station, children can write a letter for Santa to take back to the North Pole. The Columbian Park Polar Express train will be running, weather permitting (the Columbian Park Express train is unable to run during rain or snow events, or during extremely low temperatures). A Holiday Hayride will also be available (weather permitting), taking you on a scenic trip through Columbian Park. Hot chocolate, cookies, and other festive treats and gifts will be available for purchase at the event.
Columbian Park Zoo is dedicated to providing children and families with an opportunity to celebrate the holidays in a safe and fun environment. Reindeer Rendezvous will be BURSTING with decorations, music, photo stops, as well as fun educational opportunities.

Please note that this event will take place at the Columbian Park Carousel Building and surrounding area. The Zoo will NOT open for this event.
Ticket and Entry Rules (PLEASE READ)
1. Tickets are only good for the time slot that you select. All attendees (including children 2 years and under) must present a ticket for entry into the event.
2. Adults and children ages 3 and over are $6 each online.
3. Kids 2 years old and under are FREE for this event! Please see the "free ticket option" when purchasing tickets on this site to help us track attendance and to allow your little elf entry into the event!
4. Refunds are not available.
5. Tickets may be available at the gate for $10 each unless attendance limits have been met.
Reindeer Rendezvous with the Zoo fundraising proceeds are utilized by the Lafayette Parks Foundation to fund future capital improvements and education programs at the Columbian Park Zoo
