JOIN US FOR A SPOOKY GOOD TIME ON THE SQUARE FRIDAY, OCTOBER 29 FROM 6:00 – 9:00 PM! 6:00 pm: costume parade and contest announcements + Danville Community Education Foundation Fun Run 7:00 pm: golf cart parade 8:00 pm: Danville Community Education Foundation 5K .Live entertainment by Black Jack Davey & the Rhythm Kings from 7:00 – 9:00 + beer garden by Central Normal Tap. Food trucks, scary short films at the Royal, spooky stories at the Library on the half-hour, and lots more activities for kids! Decorating Contests Show off your Halloween decorating skills! It’s free to enter, and you could win a prize for the best business window, front porch, or jack-o-lantern. Click here to choose the category you are interested in and enter the contest. Judging will be on Thursday, October 28 at 5:00 pm. Danville Education Foundation Fun Run and 5K Come run or walk with your friends and family for a great cause! This unique Fun Run/5k will take place in downtown Danville and through our great park system. The 5K will have the added element of running in the dark! We’ll have glow sticks and lighted course markers. Feel free to dress up in a costume, paint your face and be creative!
