Kesem chapters run the summer camps. A chapter is a division of our Camp Kesem National program. We have over 100 chapters that are based out of colleges or universities, and the camp counselors come from that school.
- Certain Camp Kesem chapters conduct camp in a different state or city from where the university is located.
When applying for camp, you can search by Kesem chapter or by state.
Our camps fill up quickly. If you are trying to register your child for the first time and the camp of your choice is already full, we have a few important messages for you regarding space in our programs:
- Please sign up to secure a waitlist position for your child. We can often accommodate these children.
- By applying now, you will be eligible for early registration next year, even if you don’t get a spot this coming year.
- You can instead register for camp at another chapter that has spaces available. You are not required to attend the same chapter’s camp every year, and every camp offers our Kesem magic!
- Campers can only register for one camp at a time, so if you are already on a waitlist, please contact us here if you’d like to be transferred to a different camp with open spots.
Health insurance is not required to participate in Camp Kesem. However, if you have insurance, we will ask for that information during the application process.
The application does not need be filled out in one sitting – you can save your progress and come back later. Simply click on “Save Progress” in the top right corner of the camper application. You will be instructed to provide an email and password. This can be the same as your login to Kesem Central. To resume progress, login, click on the “My Applications” tab, and follow the link to continue the application using the email and password created previously. Please remember this login – it will allow you to upload your health forms and any other documentation later.
There is a single application for all participants (“campers” are ages 6-14 and “Leaders in Training” are ages 14-18).
Please note, some of our sessions do not yet have camp dates and locations completely confirmed. In that case, the system will show TBD for the camp location or camp dates. If you have any questions, please fill out this form or contact us at (253) 736-3821.
The application asks for the child’s current (2018-2019 school year) grade level.
