2021 Summer Camp ( Grades K-6) - Mooresville Park & Recreation District

Deposits & Weekly Payments
All school-age Summer Camps utilize a deposit system for weekly enrollments. The balance payment must be paid for all weeks registered. If your child will not be attending a week that they are registered for, a minimum of 10-day notice must be given to the Park Office. Without 10-day advanced notice, you will be responsible for the balance payment, even if your child does not attend camp. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit will be applied toward the weekly camp fee. Deposits cannot be applied to partial weeks (REC Camp Mon/Wed/Fri and Tues/Thurs registrations). Part-time camp registrations (MWF/TR available only at REC Camp) must be paid in full at the time of registration.

SUMMER CAMP OPEN HOUSE AND POOL PARTY
This NEW Open House and Pool Party is suggested for ALL campers registered during any week of the PAC or REC Camps (new and returning campers). The camp Open House & Pool Party is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 19 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Campers and their families will be able to meet the counselors, pick up camper t-shirts, take the swim test, ask questions and enjoy a pool party! Dinner will be provided.

Pioneer Adventure Camp

"PAC" is a recreational based summer camp for children entering K-6 in the Fall. An active daily schedule will allow each camper to experience crafts, nature activties, games and sports while enjoying different areas of the park. Located in Pioneer Park, campers are outside all-day, every day. (Indoors at Park Office facility in severe inclement weather). Fee includes swimming at the Aquatic Center (Tues/Thurs), a camp shirt and daily afternoon snack. Campers must provide a sack lunch, water bottle, and sunscreen. *Campers registered for Swim Lessons Session A or E at 8:30am can be escorted back and forth to camp by staff. Swim Lesson registration is a separate fee.
Eligibility: All children entering grades K-6
Location: Pioneer Park
Times: 7am - 6pm
Fee:Brown Township Residents $110  Non-Residents $125
       Sibling Discount $10 off per week after first child (both children must be registered for same week)
Session Offerings:

*No camp May 31, July 5 or August 4-6

REC Camp

A fun-filled weekly schedule includes games, crafts and weekly themed activities. Located at one of the Mooresville Elementary Schools, campers are only outdoors about 50% of the time with the other part of the day inside the school. Fee includes swimming at the Aquatic Center (Mon/Wed), a camp shirt and daily afternoon snack. Lunch is provided as part of the USDA Free Summer Lunch Program offered at the Mooresville Schools. Campers must provide a water bottle and sunscreen.

Eligibility: Open only to children enrolled in Mooresville Schools, K-6 in the Fall.
Location: Neil Armstrong Elementary
Times: Regular Care 8:45am - 4pm and Extended Care 6:30am - 6pm
Fees:

*A $10 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required per week at the time of registration
**Partial weeks (MWF and TR) are very limited and require full payment at the time of registration
A sliding scale fee is available for those that qualify for free or reduced lunch.
